5 companies release new apps for aggregates industry
Cardinal Scale’s new Pathway mobile app allows truck drivers to remain inside the cab while weighing the truck. Designed to provide all standard truck scale ID storage functions, the app uses NTEP 825 Spectrum indicator’s weight display. It automatically records the legal-for-trade indicator’s onboard memory, which can be emailed, printed or stored for later retrieval via USB memory stick or Ethernet. The app is available for Android and Apple mobile devices. A wireless network or Wi-Fi connectivity is required for use.

Telematics app for iPad
Case offers its SiteWatch app for the iPad, which provides in-depth performance, productivity and maintenance data about fleets. Users can view fleet details, locate machinery, create geofences, check machine use and working station durations, review alarm status, see fuel consumption, monitor machine health, and more.

Dexter + Chaney has unveiled Project Plan Room, a mobile app that allows users to send documents, data and other information in real time from the office to workers’ mobile devices. Users can view documents online or offline, view up-to-date information and zoom in on documents. An Internet connection is only necessary for synchronizing with the company’s Spectrum Construction Software for updates or new document versions. The app is available for Android and Apple devices and Windows Surface tablets.
