AGG 1 Equipment/Product Showcase
Eagle Crusher
Next generation crusher
Eagle Crusher Co. will showcase its Hybrid Traxx, the company’s first track-mounted impactor plant, which features diesel electrical power for both the impactor and the plant, with hydraulic operation powering the tracks. The Hybrid Traxx is easily transportable, features a compact design, and can work in tandem with other stationary or mobile equipment. The plant is equipped with the new, three-stage UltraMax II Impactor and features the largest under-crusher clearance in the industry, 18 inches, according to the company.
Grasan
Aggregate systems
Grasan Equipment will emphasize its complete crushing, screening, conveying, stacking, and feed/storage systems for quarry operations of all types and sizes. The company says it can create a whole new system from the ground up or integrate new equipment and systems into existing facilities for upgrading or expansion.
GreyStone
Dewatering screen
GreyStone Inc. plans to exhibit its new Aggre-Dry FMW Screen at the show. The company says the innovative sand dewatering unit combines a fine material screw and dewatering screen to produce products with moisture content as low as 8 to 13 percent, by weight, using only 30 horsepower to wash and dewater up to 100 tons per hour. The screen re-introduces the throughs from the screen back into the screw’s washing process, where the screw portion of the unit again pushes it to the dewatering screen, increasing the amount of salable product.
John Deere
Improved emissions compliance/power
John Deere Construction & Forestry says its 710J Backhoe features a new PowerTech E 6068 Tier 3 engine with improved emissions compliance and power. The new engine, which became standard on backhoes beginning in January, will provide an increase in horsepower over the previous unit, according to the company. In addition, the high-pressure common rail fuel system provides higher injection pressures, variable timing, and precise control of fuel injection for highly efficient combustion.
KPI-JCI
Larger jaw crusher
KPI-JCI will feature its FT 3055 Fast Trax mobile track-mounted jaw crushing plant that has a maximum production rate of up to 700 tons per hour. The company says the standard overload protection system optimizes the plant’s productivity by regulating the crusher feed to prevent crusher overload and possible plugging.
Major Wire
Screening solutions
Major Wire will exhibit Flex-Mat 3, one of its three most popular products. The company says Flex-Mat 3 High-Performance, Self-Cleaning Screen Media increases throughput of spec product by up to 40 percent over woven wire or polyurethane panels by eliminating blinding, pegging, and clogging. It also increases production volume of spec product because it has up to 30 percent more open area than woven wire screens, allowing 30 percent more properly sized material to fall through, according to the company.
McLanahan
Dewaters plant sludge
McLanahan Corp. will showcase Matec Machinery’s HPT Plate and Frame Filter Press. The company says Matec’s use of high-pressure technology allows the press to work at pressures of up to 300 psi and handle even the most difficult, high-clay-content sludge. McLanahan says the Matec Press functions without the use of flocculants; does not require a full-time operator to monitor feed density, flocculant dosage, or belt conditions; and eliminates the need for settling ponds.
