What’s on the Must-See List for AGG1 2012 Aggregates Forum & Expo

Here’s a preview of some of the products and equipment you’ll find on display at the show in March.

McLanahan Corp. Booth 6421

McLanahan plans to display its plants made up of cyclones/separators and dewatering screens. The company says these simple plants can produce as many as three separate products without a classifier, and the combination of cyclones and dewatering screens results in a drier product and less usable sand lost to waste. The plants are available in fixed, modular, and mobile configurations.

REMco Booth 405

REMco plans to display its new Model 1530 VSI crusher available in single drive with 300-horsepower capability. The crusher’s compact design features a feed size up to 3 inches and is capable of feed rates up to 280 tons per hour in a small installation. The company says the new unit is the latest in mechanical improvement for increased performance and lower cost crushing.

Volvo Construction Equipment Booth 1205

Volvo plans to display its L250G wheel loader. The heavy-duty machine offers plenty of power and features larger bucket sizes. The company says the loader is perfectly matched to load triaxle on-highway trucks in two passes when using a new 9.0-cubic-yard rehandling bucket.

Caterpillar, Inc. Booth 1020

Caterpillar will showcase its line of K Series medium wheel loaders — the 950K, 962K, 966K, 972K (shown), and 980K. The machines feature a new operator station, new electro-hydraulic steering with joystick or steering wheel control, Performance Series buckets, and a more efficient drive train. The new engines are certified to meet Tier 4 Interim emissions standards and offer fuel efficiency.

Rohr Dredge NA Booth 2190

Rohr Dredge will showcase its signature clamshell and bucketladder dredges at the show. The company says the aggressive, deep-digging, and low-operating-cost characteristics of its all-electric equipment offers great value in today’s challenging economy. Photos and videos of the company’s first dredge in Russia will be on display as well.

AZFAB Booth 704

AZFAB plans to highlight its solutions for fines material processing — dewatering screens, vertical durability cells, thickeners, and cyclones. The vertical durability cell provides the scrubbing power necessary to liberate clays and allow for additional scrubbing. The company says its systems employ an aggressive new design that causes the incoming particles to abrade against each other.
