These units are designed to slice through the nastiest of stumps, grub out roots and split large hardwood logs both lengthwise and crosswise with ease. Nye harvesters are built entirely from extra thick quenched and tempered alloy plate, ready for years of work on the most demanding jobsites. The new XSH5 series features: Ripper fangs for hooking and back pulling logs and stumps. Oversized replaceable “Tiger Tooth” with improved geometry for efficient splitting with and against the grain. An extra thick cutting blade, with a super hard alloy overlay cutting edge. Massive side plate thickness around torque tubes to resist twisting. Side plates with serrated edges for better grip and control. Customer™s choice of teeth for ripping, prying and digging.
