Belt-Way
Scales Inc.’s patented load-cell assemblies are housed in a
corrosion 4X-fiberglass enclosure, featuring a full “O”-ring sealed
waterproof door, and corrosion-resistant hardware. The modular
design makes it easy to install, fit any conveyor width, and reduce
the potential for material build-up on the scale, which produces
inaccuracy, according to the manufacturer. The scales are also
equipped with a built-in high-speed computer network that interfaces
with a PC or Belt-Way Remote Display, which allows for the
interconnection of up to 200 scales for data collection or automated
blending.
The
BEMP Belt Scale from Schenk Weighing Systems allows aggregate
producers to precisely weigh continuous flow rates of sand, gravel,
or crushed stone in processing plants that output up to 15,000 tons
per hour, according to the company. Single and multiple idlers with
measuring accuracies of plus or minus 1 percent of total weight are

Advanced
Weighing System’s Real-Time Controllers include a Peripheral Device
Controller, or PDC, and a Real-Time Scale Appliance, or RSTA. Adding
these real-time data collection systems can improve office
efficiency by freeing up overloaded office staff for other duties,
extending office hours without a dedicated scale operator, and
allowing up-to-the-load job tracking. The systems are designed to
withstand heavy traffic loads and allow operator intervention during
attended periods of operation. Both controllers communicate via the
Internet software to record data in real time.

industry-leading 90,000-pound Concentrated Load Capacity (CLC),
meaning that the scale provides consistent, accurate weights, even
in the toughest conditions, according to the manufacturer. The
low-profile, mid-duty truck scale are ideal for aboveground or pit
applications. The scale features a patented G-Force load cell mount
assemblies, a 75,000-pound capacity load cells, and up to a
270,000-pound full-scale capacity. It comes in three standard widths
— 10-, 11-, and 12-feet — but is available up to 14 feet.
