In-spec in tough conditions Aggregate Innovations’ Computerized Sand Re-blending Controls are designed to make consistent, in-spec stockpiles, even in tough conditions with difficult specifi-cations, according to the manufacturer. The controls can be installed on any manufacturer’s tank. Both the CSR and CSR-Multi tank controls are able to produce products with difficult specifications such as golf course sand; generate daily, weekly, monthly, or customized reports on classifying tank activity; and predict the tonnage of material. Both types of controls also feature tonnage prediction, fineness modulus tracking to adjust the coarseness of the material, remote monitoring, and the option of producing any one of the following three types of specifications: percent passing specifications, percent retained specifications, and cumulative percent retained specifications. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the PreView radar object detection system from Preco Electronics senses both stationary and moving objects. An on-board display module gives the operator visible and audible indications when an object is identified, and the tempo of the lights and sounds increase as the distance to the object narrows. At a predetermined distance, the MICO 691 Brake Lock system stops the vehicle to prevent a collision; it can be over-ridden by a manual release button. The water-soluble compound is said to be biodegradable, environmentally friendly, easy to apply, and quick to cure. A wide variety of conventional praying equipment can be used without modification, and it can be cleaned with water — no solvents are needed. The product is said to act like a net, impregnating unbound or un-compacted material like soil and sand that overlays the subgrade to suppress dust. The satellite-positioning tool can track L2C and L5 GPS signals as well as GLONASS, giving equipment users the ability to work in tough GPS environments at longer ranges with faster initialization times, according to Trimble. The GCS900 system is used on excavators for mass excavation, dozers and scrapers for bulk earthworks, and motor graders for finish grading.
