According to the manufacturer, the line offers the most competitively priced gauges in today’s market. GBI Precision instruments have a warranty of two years from the date of manufacture. GB Instruments, Inc. can customize any GBI Precision product to incorporate a company logo or product name for small, medium, and large fleets.

Fault detection and bearing system goes mobile
The SKF Copperhead System, a combination of bearing and condition-monitoring technologies, has gone mobile. For the first time, 12- and 24-VDC models are available for use on mobile vibrating screen and crushing units. Both AC and DC systems are available as kits for new equipment and for retrofitting existing equipment to provide fault detection in a number of ways. Each kit can include SKF bearings and vibration/temperature sensors and control units. Using the system, the asset is monitored for specific machine and process faults, bearing conditions, bearing temperature, and lubrication conditions.

Hammond offers portable air conditioning
Hammond Air Conditioning offers “air conditioning in a suitcase” for underground mining applications. The Arctic Wolf unit is 12 in. high, 33 in. wide, and 28 in. long, weighing 220 lbs. The unit sets directly on the machine and can plug directly into the hydraulic system. It may be customized to fit the space and application of the machine.

Steering system offers flexibility
SKF has combined electric steering with the power density of hydraulics to create the SKF Electro-Hydraulic steering system. The system offers OEMs the opportunity to design more ergonomic cabins and to provide more steering flexibility in industrial vehicles, according to the manufacturer. The steering system is designed to simplify installation procedures and processes. Four components make up the closed-loop steering system: a mechanical/electronic steering module, a controller, integrated kingpin bearing sensors, and an electrically actuated proportioning valve.
