Kolberg Revises Wash Plant
Kolberg-Pioneer now offers a revised version Model 1822 portable screening and washing plant. The revised model includes a horizontal 6- x 16-ft. triple-deck screen, a twin 36-in.-diameter fine material washer, and three stacking conveyors under the screen discharge chute. The JCI vibrating screen has 14 spray bars, each with 19 spray nozzles. It also comes complete with dual-axle suspension for legal highway travel.

Airbrator Pads Provide Increased Material Movement In Bins
Airbrator pads from BinMaster improve the movement of fine-grained materials in bins. They can be used with a blower with air pressure from 5 to 60 psig. The pads are made of a silicone material with a supporting stud, washer, and nut. To determine required CFM, multiply together the cycle time per minute, the air flow at the supply, and the number of pads. The pads are designed to work with alumina, ash, baghouse dust, cement, clay, and sand, among other materials.

Mobil Delvac Oil Receives Mack Approval
ExxonMobil’s Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40 received the Mack EO-N Premium Plus approval. Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40 is designed for engines in low-emission on-highway applications, including those operating with exhaust gas recirculation system, according to the manufacturer. It also complies with American Petroleum Institute CI-4 requirements and holds Mack EO-N and Volvo VDS-3 approvals. The oil controls oil thickening due to soot buildup and exposure to higher temperatures and resists oxidation, corrosion, and high-temperature varnish deposits, ExxonMobil said.

Eagle Reverses Plant Configuration
Eagle Crusher Co.’s UltraStealth 1400-45 portable impactor plant has a reverse plant configuration that provides equal weight distribution, allowing plant transport without having to remove the feed hopper. The impactor can be used as either a primary or secondary crusher and is engineered to meet restrictions on moving large plants with feed hoppers, according to the manufacturer. It also features three-stage crushing action and a solid-steel, three-bar rotor design with hybrid titanium-alloy blow bars. The UltraStealth comes with an optional tandem-axle jeep.

Jordan Controls recently released an updated version of its model-information catalog. The catalog features details and spec information on the full line of motion control products offered through Jordan Controls. It also includes information on unit dimensions and the range of torques, thrusts, speeds, control inputs, and enclosure ratings. Wiring diagrams and application information also are included in the catalog.

Grasan Recycling Impactor Plant Combines Mobility and Production Capacity
The KRH1315 impact crusher plant from Grasan is capable of crushing concrete, asphalt rubble, and C&D debris at up to 400 tons per hour and shot limestone at up to 500 tons per hour, according to the manufacturer. The 127,500-lb. plant features six independent hydraulic legs and a skid-on/skid-off, 16-cu.-yd. hopper with a 5- x 18-ft. grizzly feeder. The Hazemag APPH1315QL crusher has a 52- x 60-in. rotor and 43- x 60-in. inlet opening. The unit is available with diesel or electric power.

Case Motor Graders Offer Flip-up Hood
The new 800 Series motor graders from Case Construction Equipment feature a flip-up rear hood. The one-piece, non-metallic sloping rear hood is designed to provide easy access to service points and good operator visibility, according to the manufacturer. The series includes three new models — 845, 865, and 885 — with 140 to 205 net hp and operating weights ranging from 29,777 to 37,950 lbs. Moldboards are available in 12-, 13-, and 14-ft. widths. Case graders articulate 25 degrees left and right.

Schenck Offers Two Lines of Conveyor Scales
Schenck now offers two lines of belt conveyor scales. The BX Series includes two- and four-idler models, while the BEMP Series includes single- and dual-idler versions with the Intecont MS totalizer and integrator. Both lines offer test weights, +/- 0.25-percent accuracy on the four-idler scales, and are designed to work in rugged construction environments, according to the manufacturer. Schenck also said that none of the products require special tools for installation.

Cat Launches Used Equipment Site
CatUsed.com is the latest addition to the Caterpillar website family. The new site features the entire inventory of Cat Certified and Cat Dealer Certified used products available in the United States and Canada. This equipment includes machines for light and heavy construction. Caterpillar Certified Used Equipment must be less than five years old, have fewer than 7,000 hours, have extended power train coverage options available, and pass a machine-specific inspection, Cat said. The company expects CatUsed.com to list more than 15,000 Cat machines and include used Cat engines and attachments. All used equipment is purchased through local Cat dealers.

Bearing Puller Helps Reduce Installation Time
The Imperial adaptor mount system is the new Rockwell Automation product to help reduce problems with installing and removing bearings from a shaft. The system features an insert with a built-in bearing puller. According to the manufacturer, this puller reduces bearing installation and removal time from two hours to approximately 15 minutes. This insert is available in various sizes, all that meet IP, ISAF, and ISN standards. It also comes equipped with a split cap pillow block with bore sizes ranging from 1.44 to 7 in.
