Tina Grady Barbaccia is executive editor of Better Roads and news & digital editor for Aggregates Manager. She has bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Mass Communication and in Theater Studies from Kent State University and a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Master of Science in Communication managerial program. Barbaccia is currently national second vice president and a board member of the Construction Writers Association and national treasurer of the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) and a Chicago board member. She has won numerous national and regional ASBPE Awards as well as being a finalist for the American Business Media’s (ABM) Jesse H. Neal Award in 2007 and recipient of the award in 2011. Her coverage of a program to help children learn about the aggregates industry and pique their interest in geology earned an industry organization a 2005 Littleford Award from ABM.
