The spate of news coming out of Caterpillar continues with the announcement this morning of its plans to expand its manufacturing in Brazil. The exact location of the new backhoe and small wheel loader facility will be announced later this summer. These machines are currently produced in Piracicaba, Brazil; facilities there are expected to be freed up to increase capacity for other products once the new plant is online.
