Coming Soon to AGG 1
Linatex
Process equipment line
Linatex will be showcasing its newly designed and re-engineered G4 process equipment line that includes pumps, hydrocyclones, and dewatering screens. The G4 pumps are available in rubber (shown) or hard metal. The rubber pump is specifically designed for use in abrasive slurry and chemical application, while the metal pump is engineered for coarse particle size and high head applications.
According to the company, the G4 hydrocyclone features three innovations — an interchangeable inlet wedge that minimizes downtime by allowing machine performance to be fine tuned without removing it from the process line, an involute swept entry design that reduces turbulence and delivers sharp classification, and a drop-in replacement liner that provides abrasion resistance and reduced maintenance costs.
The company says its G4 dewatering screen is designed for maximum water recovery, increased load capacity, and the lowest total cost of ownership. The units curved sieve-like feed section and upward inclination main deck increase its dewatering capacity.
Rohr
Land-based bucket-ladder dredge
Rohr Corporation plans to display its newest development in underwater mining technology, its land-based bucket-ladder dredge. Although the company has built several of these units worldwide, the concept is relatively new in the United States. With the dredge, the company says the producer is capable of maximum extraction of shallow-depth deposits (36 to 40 feet). Extracted material can be stockpiled, conveyed directly from the dredge, or fed onto a haul truck.
KPI-JCI/Astec Mobile Screens
Maximum efficiency
KPI-JCI will feature several new products at the show, including its low-profile drive-over truck unloader and the ProSizer 2612V screen. The low 3-foot profile of the 48-inch truck unloader means operators spend less time prepping the work site with earthen ramps. The unloader’s compact design makes it easy to move to multiple locations and eliminates time spent loading/unloading machinery from a trailer.
The ProSizer 2612V screen is Astec Mobile Screens’ solution for handling RAP. The screen incorporates a double-deck VariVibe high-frequency screen and a horizontal shaft impactor. The machine’s design includes increased ground clearance for easier transport and maneuvering, as well as an open top for full use of the 24-inch return conveyor.
Telsmith/Astec
Road-portable jaw crusher
Telsmith, Inc., an Astec Industries company, will be showcasing its new Hydra-Jaw model H2550 jaw crusher designed for road-portable or track-mobile crushing. The company says the crusher’s main frame uses a new sculpted profile to minimize weight and height while maintaining strength and integrity. A hydraulic toggle provides push-button setting adjustment, tramp iron protection, and chamber-clearing functions.
