Heavy-duty screening machine
Powerscreen introduced its new Warrior 800, a multi-purpose, heavy-duty incline, two-deck screen capable of stockpiling, three-way splitting, or scalping before and after crushing units. The screenbox accepts a wide variety of screen media. The unit accepts material feed up to 16 inches and can handle up to 300 tons per hour. Features include a low-profile feed hopper with rear door for direct feed without benching and a two-deck screen box measuring 9 feet by 4 feet. A new electrical control system allows operators to monitor and diagnose the machine on site via an LCD display without specialty tools. The machine is available in tracked or wheeled configurations.
Portable, powerful superstacker
KPI-JCI, an Astec company, says its 48-inch by 150-foot SuperStacker is the largest road-portable telescoping conveyor on the market and is the quickest and easiest to pack up and move. The stacker’s Wizard Touch Automated Control System helps keep stockpiling operations efficient. Additional features include desegregated stockpiling for no re-blending and less discounting, an automatic discharge height adjustment to help lower degradation, and a heavy-duty undercarriage for highway travel.
World’s largest scraper
K-Tec Earthmovers Inc. says its 1254 articulating dump truck (ADT) is the world’s largest earthmoving scraper available today, featuring a 54-cubic yard heaped capacity and empty tare weight of 49,000 pounds. The scraper’s side walls are 2 feet higher than the K-Tec 1243 ADT, allowing it to hold 11 additional yards. A large target area makes the machine easy to load.
