Diesel fuel price report: June 24, 2013

U.S. diesel fuel prices increased in the majority of the reported regions this week, while overal costs continue to decrease.
The West Coast experienced the greatest weekly increase at $0.009 per gallon more than last week  and $0.124 per gallon higher than a year ago.
The largest decreases occurred in the Midwest and the Rocky Mountain region, where diesel fuel prices fell $0.012 per gallon for each region over last week. However, prices in these regions are still higher than a year ago, climbing $0.241 and $0.057, respectively, year-over-year.
The average price for diesel in the U.S. this week continued to fall. Diesel prices in the U.S. are $0.003 per gallon lower than a week ago but $0.160 per gallon higher than a year ago.
All prices reflect on-highway diesel fuel costs.
