Diesel fuel price report: June 9, 2014

U.S. diesel fuel prices are down for the sixth consecutive week, falling $0.026 per gallon for the week ending June 9.

This week, diesel prices also fell in all 10 U.S. regions.

The Central Atlantic region experienced the greatest weekly decline this week, with diesel costing $0.037 per gallon less than a week ago. However, prices in the region are $0.172 more than a year ago.

The average price for diesel in the U.S. this week is $0.043 per gallon higher than a year ago.

Year-over-year costs rose in all but one region.
