Diesel fuel price report: May 28, 2013

Following two weeks of increases, U.S. diesel fuel prices decreased in nearly every region this week. The Central Atlantic and Rocky Mountain regions experienced the only increases in the United States, with the Central Atlantic region seeing a $0.003 per gallon increase and the Rocky Mountain region seeing a $0.015 per gallon increase.
All other regions experienced decreases, with California experiencing the largest decline at $0.028 per gallon less than last week  and $0.184 per gallon less than a year ago.
National diesel costs are also declining. Diesel prices in the U.S. are $0.010 per gallon less than a week ago and $0.017 per gallon less than a year ago.
