IRock Crushers’ new TS-522 heavy-duty screener, one of five models, is suitable for medium- to large-scale operations. The company says it features extra hopper capacity, a class-leading screening area, and the highest stockpiling capability of any screener of its size. The unit is powered by a 129-horsepower Cat C4.4 engine and is capable of processing materials at a rate of up to 670 tons per hour. The unit’s 14-foot-wide hopper feeder is rated to 12 cubic yards. A 22-foot by 5-foot top deck and a 20-foot by 5-foot bottom deck offer a total screening area of 210 square feet. The two-deck design allows users to produce and sort up to three different size products. A three-deck version that can sort four sizes is also available. Hydraulically folding side conveyors are able to stack up to 16 feet, 8 inches; the tail conveyor can stack up to 16 feet, 2 inches.
