Extended wear life results in lower maintenance costs and less downtime.

Martin Engineering Co.

Martin Engineering says its Apron Seal skirtboard sealing system provides two wear surfaces on a single elastomer sealing strip installed along the bottom of the skirtboard in a belt conveyor loading zone. When the bottom side of the strip against the belt is worn, the sealing strip is inverted, providing a second service life. The skirting is available in lengths up to 300 feet.

Richwood

Richwood says its Cushion Arc heavy-duty impact idler provides impact protection for conveyor belts. Each idler has five to nine individual rollers that provide full-belt-width radius support. The rollers are 6-inch-diameter R2000 rubber molded over 2.75-inch-diameter steel shells. The rollers can be easily replaced from the side of the belt.
