Kleemann Mobile Screens Serve Contractors, Quarries

Sept. 29, 2010 – In North America, Kleemann offers a variety of MOBISCREEN track-mounted screen plants, producing multiple aggregate sizes with fixed or swiveling discharge belts, and with screening surfaces tailored for the ultimate application, whether for contractor or permanent quarry use.
These mobile plants have screen surface sizes which range from 8.4 sq. yd. to 22 sq. yd.
Available in double-deck or triple-deck screen designs, with or without feed hopper, as a banana screen, with finger-screening surface with rubber perforated panels, or in other configurations, MOBISCREEN mobile screens from Kleemann are suitable for use everywhere high outputs are required, and heavy duty material must be separated.
The screens optimally adapt to their missions. For example, all stone quarry plants are diesel-electric driven, and are thus particularly suited for combined operation with an upstream Kleemann crusher.
The output range of MOBISCREEN mobile screen plants goes to 1,000 tons per hour, depending on the type and consistency of the material feed, as well as the end product to being manufactured.
The compact MS 16 is the contractor’s choice, with its 5 ft. x 14 ft., two-bearing screen box, large 11 cubic yard hopper with remote tilting grid, and all incorporated into a quick set -up chassis. Powered by a CAT 100 hp diesel engine, the machine can be moved into position, setup and put into operation quickly.
The larger MS 19, with its efficient 5 ft. x 20 ft., two-bearing screen box, was designed for higher tonnage applications. It’s used profitably by both contractors and in quarries. With its onboard CAT 125 hp diesel engine, the MS 19 offers versatility and performance.
This direct-feed screen has been designed mainly for quarries. The heavy-duty MS 18, with its 6 ft. x 16 ft. screen, can be run independently or linked to and powered by Kleemann crushers, which improves the system’s overall performance and fuel economy by allowing the crusher to control the screen while in operation. The screen can either be direct-fed from a crusher, or an optional hopper can be fitted to facilitate feeding via excavator or front-end loader.
Finally, with a 6 ft., 7 in. x 20 ft., three-deck banana-shaped screen and high capacity stocking conveyors, the MS 20 in a quarry application is the perfect choice for high tonnages and accurate separation. Like the MS 18, it comes with an onboard power unit, but also can be linked to a Kleemann crusher, enabling both machines to work in series.
MOBISCREEN equipment nomenclature bearing the “Z” extension denotes a two-deck screen, that bearing the “D” extension denotes a three-deck screen.
