National Lime and Stone announces organizational changes
FINDLAY, Ohio, March 6 — The organizational structure of the National Lime and Stone Co. has been changed to meet the challenges of increased market complexity and support the future growth of the company, it was announced today by Carleton P. Palmer, chairman of the board and CEO.
Palmer said an important first step is the creation of the office of the chairman. He said this office includes himself; C. Paul Palmer, president and chief operating officer; and Christopher W. Beeman, who becomes executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Beeman, who reports to the CEO, is responsible for all finance functions, IT, and corporate support services.
C. Paul Palmer continues to have oversight for sales, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of all products. In addition, Paul Palmer continues to oversee all human resources and labor relations functions, as well as internal audit.
Chad D. Doll has been named vice president – corporate relations and development. He is responsible for relations with large customers, large project bidding, and corporate development activities. He reports to the office of the chairman.
Tony L. Price has been named senior vice president – sales and is responsible for sales, distribution, and marketing.
Timothy J. DiBerardino has been named vice president – marketing and distribution. He reports to the senior vice president – sales. He is responsible for developing marketing strategy and continues to oversee sales and operations for all product distribution activities.
Scott L. Rhodes has been named vice president – manufacturing. Rhodes is responsible for the production and manufacturing of all aggregates and mineral products.
Brian J. Wheeler has been named group vice president – support services. He is responsible for purchasing/warehousing, engineering, maintenance, environmental/safety compliance, quality assurance, and corporate real estate. He reports to the executive vice president and chief financial officer.
National Lime and Stone is one of the nation’s largest independently owned producers of crushed stone and is one of the largest suppliers of construction aggregates in Ohio.
The company is the largest domestic producer of dried dolomitic stone used to manufacture flat glass. Other industrial minerals manufactured by National Lime and Stone are used by such industries as roofing, steel, agriculture, and automotive. It also produces cut stone for architectural and landscape markets.
