Weir Minerals says its new line of Multiflo dewatering pumps can be modified to handle the largest open mine pits with the harshest water conditions. According to the company, two of the units — the MF-90V high-flow pump and the MF210MV high-head pump — can be custom built to suit any mine-specific application, ensuring top performance and improving productivity.

Thompson’s JSC Series Solids Handling Enviroprime pump is made of heavy-duty cast-iron construction, and can dry-prime and re-prime automatically. The portable line features pumps that range from 3 to 18 inches and are designed for high flows to 11,000 gallons per minute, maximum heads to 660 feet, and up to 255 psi. These end-suction centrifugal pumps can handle solids up to 4 inches and are available coupled to EPA Tier-compliant engines or electric motors.

Subaru Trash Pumps are centrifugal-type pumps available with 2-, 3-, and 4-inch discharge outlets. Powered by a Subaru overhead cam or overhead valve gasoline engine, they can deliver volumes of 185 to 528 gallons per minute. The HS80HH has a 3-inch hydraulic top-discharging pump and a diesel-drive power pack. It has a variable speed diesel engine and head requirements up to 450 gallons per minute with 325 feet of total dynamic head with a simple throttle adjustment.

ITT Goulds Pumps’ XHD Extra Heavy Duty Lined Slurry Pump was designed for the toughest slurry applications. Gorman-Rupp Prime Aire Plus pumps employ the same venturi/compressor priming system as the Prime Aire line. The compressor is integral on the engine version and a shelf mount design on the electric units.
