Quarry Park and Nature Preserve in Waite Park, Minnesota, last month received two new granite monuments, according to SCTimes.com [3].

One of the monuments has been placed near the park’s display of a stiffleg derrick, which the park demonstrated during the town’s summer festival [4].

The other monument is a sculpture constructed of diamond pink granite mined from a nearby quarry. It stands near the park’s entrance.

The sculpture was created by Vermont artist George Kurjanowicz.

Coldspring donated the stone.
