China Manufacturers Alliance, LLC says its new Double Coin REM-15 all-steel radial off-the-road tires for loaders and graders offer lower operating costs without compromise in performance. The tire is engineered with a wide footprint for excellent traction, floatation, and ride. It is currently available in the 17.5R25 size, but it will be expanded to larger sizes in the future.

Automatic removal of unwanted iron

Eriez says its powerful magnetic pulleys provide automatic removal of unwanted iron from materials on conveyor belts, which prevents machinery damage and product contamination. The self-cleaning units, offered in permanent and electromagnetic designs, are available in 80 combinations of diameters from 8 to 36 inches and in belt widths from 8 to 60 inches. The Permanent Magnet Axial Interpole Pulleys are constructed of quality steel center tubes with welded dividers to securely hold magnet stacks. They are finish painted, and hub bore holes are coated to prevent rust or pitting.

Truck tire for mining applications

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. says its new G741 MSD truck tire boasts a 33/32-inch tread with a wide footprint, making it perfect for mining and construction applications. Additional features include an aggressive, self-cleaning tread design to help resist mud build-up and enhance grip; a cut- and chip-resistant tread compound that helps provide long-lasting performance on tough terrain; tread block sipes to enhance traction in wet, snowy, and icy conditions while helping to maintain dry traction; and an innovative sidewall design that allows chains to be placed above the tread blocks for enhanced traction and grip. The tire will be available in size 11R24.5, Load Range H in May.
