Purpose-designed tracked impact crusher

Sandvik Mining and Construction launched its new QI240 tracked impact crusher, the first in its new range of mobile crushers and screens, at Bauma in April. The company designed the crusher with mobility, productivity, transportability, minimal environmental impact, and user friendliness in mind. Designed to work in either a secondary or primary capacity, the crusher can operate independently or in conjunction with other crushers. The unit’s size and mobility make it perfect for smaller quarries or wherever space is limited.

Rotating feed distributor

Innotech Solutions, LLC, says field testing shows that its new rotating feed distributor offers a return on investment in less than three months. The unit helps distribute feed in a cone crusher to create even crushing all around the cavity. Advantages include higher product tonnage, better liner use, lower amp draw, and elimination of crusher abuse. In addition, the company says its turbocharge kits for Symons cone crushers increase a crusher’s ability to absorb more power, which means up to 20 percent more product tonnage and improved particle shape.

Great height flexibility

TCI Manufacturing says its new mast-type radial stacking conveyor allows greater flexibility with head end height. Other features include the ability to operate at different angles and reduced segregation and degradation of material. The conveyor is designed to handle large volumes of heavy-duty material.

Enhanced payload reporting system

Loadrite says its new L-Series 2180 payload reporting system enables more precise data on tons per hour with enhanced accuracy using its patented Friction and Ambient Compensation Technology (FACT), an easy-to-use icon-driven interface with extra data-collection and reporting capabilities. The system provides accurate and precise weighing regardless of the time of day, machine type, operator, or temperature.
