Versatile mobile track system

Thor Global Enterprises Ltd. says its new ThorTrax mobile track system is a versatile solution for moving equipment quickly and safely on location. The system can be used with various types of equipment such as crushers, screens, grinders, and trailers. It can attach to telescopic stackers using a fifth-wheel hookup to act as an anchor while the stacker is in operating mode. The system can be fitted with an external electrical power supply hookup or diesel gen set engine and is wired directly to a push-button control box configured with two speed settings. Optional wireless remote operation is available.

Cleans diesel air filters

Diversi-Tech’s Green Machine is a standalone system that cleans cylindrically shaped filter cartridges so they can be reused. The unit is an easy-to-load, single-phase, 110 volt machine that operates using compressed air. It adjusts to fit most filter sizes with an outside diameter up to 18 inches. The injection cleaning system releases shop air through a rotating air jet that is driven up and down in a spiral motion inside the filter cartridge; a vibration system is used to help dislodge larger solid particles from the filter membrane. The fully automated cleaning cycle lasts for under five minutes.

Fully automatic sieve analyzer

Rotex says its Gradex 3000 Particle Size Analyzer lowers the cost of quality control programs by providing reliable, fully automatic sieve analysis with a complete data printout, thereby reducing the amount of technician time required to perform testing. The analyzer can be used at the point of the sample in the production line, enabling operators to perform the analysis right on the plant floor. The unit analyzes up to 13 fractions using standard, 12-inch-diameter, half-height, round test sieves and eliminates transposition and calculation errors by automatically classifying and weighing each sieve fraction and then calculating and storing weight values.

CAN-based interface module board

J.R. Merritt says its new ESS408 CAN-based interface module board can be configured to CAN open, J1239, or basic CAN protocols and is designed to be mounted directly to the company’s line of Hall-effect joysticks or adapted for use on any joystick generating a 0- to 5-volt or 0.5- to 4.5-volt reference signal. The unit features four analog inputs for up to four axes of proportional control, eight digital inputs for up to eight pushbuttons, and two digital outputs for up to two lights or alarms.
