Bauma 2010
Bauma, the world’s largest trade fair for the construction industry, will take place at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre in Munich, Germany, next April. The show is expected to set new records in attendance, as well as feature more exhibitors and innovations, providing the perfect place to gather information and ideas and establish contacts.
The latest products and equipment from the construction, building-materials, and mining machinery sectors will be on display. With the addition of extra exhibition halls, the total exhibit space will cover more than 540,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space.
The show will once again devote a section of the exhibit floor to the mining and aggregates industries — Mining, Extraction, and Processing of Raw Materials. The section will feature machines for the extraction of raw materials and for mining, as well as for handling raw materials and mineral processing.
New in 2010 will be an international innovation award open to all exhibitors at the fair. Prizes will be awarded on April 18 in five categories — machinery, machinery components, construction process/construction work, research, and design.
