SPCC Compliance Date Extended
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has extended the Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure(SPCC) Rule compliance dates for all facilities to Nov. 10, 2010. This extends the dates by which the owner or operator of an SPCC-regulated facility must prepare or amend and implement an SPCC plan. However, owners or operators in operation before Aug. 16, 2002 are required to maintain the plans that were in effect then until the applicable date for revising and implementing their plans under the new amendments.
