Construction unemployment rate drops to 13.2 percent despite 6k-job loss in April
The unemployment rate for the construction industry fell this month to 13.2 percent despite the industry experiencing a 6,000-job loss, our sister site, Equipment World, reported.

New IL Amtrak route to create 650 construction jobs
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has selected the proposed southern route for Amtrak's new Chicago-Rockford-Dubuque service from Chicago's Union Station to downtown Rockford.
The $60 million service will create 650 construction jobs, with trains running by early 2014.
