Don’t let the possibility of cold weather keep you from attending this aggregates forum and exposition.

The 2010 AGG 1 Aggregates Forum & Expo, sponsored by the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association and co-located with the World of Asphalt, will take place at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, from Feb. 15-18. The event will feature an in-depth educational program and exhibits that showcase the latest technologies and innovations in aggregates equipment, products, and services.

Product-focused exhibit pavilions and a New Product & Technology Program will make it easier for attendees to find new and innovative products and services on the show floor and discuss specific operational functions with exhibitors. Product pavilions for aggregates/asphalt will feature testing/measurement and information/technology.

The AGG 1 Academy will offer a wide variety of educational programming for aggregate producers, suppliers, and customers to help them get up to speed on the latest hot topics. Expert speakers and panelists will present courses and case studies on timely topics relevant to the aggregates industry. The featured courses will cover topics such as safety and health, maintaining optimal profit at a minimal cost, overcoming community opposition, contesting MSHA citations, blending and loadout systems, stormwater compliance strategies, equipment maintenance, drilling and blasting, automation, rescue training, lowering operating costs, dust control, Tier III engines, and many more.

Advance academy registration is recommended to save time and money. Volume discounts are available for companies that want a cost-effective choice of courses for their employees. Many sessions are offered in beginner and intermediate tracks for a more targeted audience. Continuing Education Credits or certificates of attendance documenting Professional Development Hours are available for many sessions.
