Bridgestone Americas Off Road Tire Announces Price Increases

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 15, 2010) – Off Road Tire division, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC (BAOR) has announced plans to increase list prices by up to 4 percent with some in-line adjustments. The price increases will affect all mining, construction, and industrial tires marketed by BAOR. The price increases are scheduled to begin April 1, 2010.

“Despite our efforts to absorb these cost increases through efficiencies and other means, we are increasing prices in order to cover a portion of the rising costs for raw materials, energy, and transportation,” said Shawn Rasey, President, BAOR.
