CSX, Seminole settle rate case dispute

CSX Transportation issued the following statement on Sept. 14:

“We are pleased to announce that the Surface Transportation Board (STB) rate case between CSX Transportation, Inc. and Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc. has been settled and Seminole has filed a motion to dismiss the case (Docket No. 42110). The parties have entered into a mutually agreeable transportation contract, the terms of which are confidential.”

CSX Transportation Inc. is a principal operating company of CSX Corporation. CSX Corporation, based in Jacksonville, Fla., is a transportation company that provides rail, intermodal and rail-to-truck transload services.
