horizontal-screen-photo2-72Terex® Cedarapids Horizontal Screens are known for their high productivity, efficiency and quality. And now, new deck designs handle larger feed sizes and heavier loads. The decks have larger support beams, new bracing and new joint construction that eliminate side wall flex. The new, robust designs handle medium scalping and heavy urethane media applications.

The heart of the Terex® Cedarapids Horizontal Screen is the ElJay® design utilizing oval stroke action produced by its triple shaft vibrating mechanism. The oval stroke action increases screening efficiency and reduces recirculating loads which in-turn, boosts production. The oval stroke is plug and blind resistant which keeps screen openings clear, allowing efficient product separation and sizing. In addition, the high G-force stratifies and separates large quantities of materials and allows the screen to operate in conditions where low G-force screens blind over. Efficient screening reduces load and wear on crushers, making the whole circuit more productive.

The unique design of the triple shaft screen enables operators to easily change speed, stroke angle, and stroke lengths—a three-way adjustment system for optimum performance. The ability to fine tune the screen along with its highly efficient oval stroke action produces high quality products to meet tight specifications. Another benefit of the triple shaft oval stroke is that it is smoother running as compared to the jerking action associated with straight stroke two-shaft screens.

Additional features found exclusively on Terex® Cedarapids Horizontal Screens include a patented lubrication system which runs cooler for maximum gear and bearing life; patented “sealed for life” O-ring Huck® bolt construction; high performance gear geometry and composite non-wearing seals for years of reliable service.

A full line of Terex® Cedarapids Horizontal Screens meet the demands of portable and stationary operations. With two-deck and three-deck screens ranging from 4 feet wide by 12 feet long (1.2 m x 3.6 m) up to 8 feet wide by 20 feet long (2.4 m x 6.1 m), there is a model to fit most any application
