LiuGong’s new fuel-efficient 842IV Z-bar wheel loader features a Tier 4 Interim, six-cylinder, four-cycle, turbocharged, water-cooled Cummins QSB6.7-C200 diesel engine that provides 193 net peak horsepower. The automatic-shift transmission with a single-stage, three-element torque converter, transfers the engine power to provide a breakout force of 30,574 pounds. Travel speeds range from 26.2 miles per hour in forward to 16.5 miles per hour in reverse. The wheel loader’s automatic boom kick-out/return-to-dig feature ensures fast cycle times for loading using the standard 3.5-cubic-yard general-purpose bucket with reversible cutting edge.
