Mine Your Way to the Big Show — Mine Expo 2012

July 1, 2012

Don’t miss this year’s MinExpo — THE place to go for everything mining.

Have you made plans to attend MinExpo? If not, you should, because it won’t happen again for another four years. MinExpo International 2012, scheduled for Sept. 24-26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is the world’s largest exposition dedicated to the mining industry — showcasing the latest and greatest mining equipment, products, technologies, and services. This year’s show is expected to be the biggest ever with more than 1,400 exhibitors and 760,000 square feet of exhibit space in 11 exhibit halls and outdoor areas. Indoor exhibit space is already sold out.

The exhibit areas will showcase the latest in automation and robotics; safety and communications equipment; engines and parts; materials handling and processing equipment and services; pollution-control equipment; reclamation equipment and services; computer applications; consulting and financial services; and much more. The education program will feature 20 sessions that tackle the most timely and pressing issues affecting the mining industry. Information shared at the sessions can help operations stay ahead of changes and new developments affecting the industry. Attendance at the sessions will earn professional development credits.

This year, MinExpo is offering an online Matchmaker Program. When registering for the show, attendees simply indicate the products, equipment, and services they are interested in seeing at the show. A few weeks prior to the show, an e-mail with a list of exhibitors matching those interests will be sent. The list will include a link to each exhibitor’s website for more information about each. For a complete list of exhibitors, go to www.minexpo.com.

Early registration for the show is open until Aug. 10, offering reduced rates on entry to the exhibition, as well as reduced rates for education sessions. The general registration fee is $100 on or before Aug. 10. After Aug. 10, the fee is $200. Attendees can register by mail, fax, or online. Online registration is quick and easy and provides an immediate registration confirmation by e-mail containing an official registration ID number along with confirmed payment information. To register for MinExpo online, go to www.minexpo.com.
