MSHA-NSSGA Alliance safety alert focuses on reducing slips, trips, and falls

The MSHA-NSSGA Alliance, which was established by the Mine Safety and Health Administration and the National Stone Sand & Gravel Association to encourage training and education to safeguard workers, has issued a new Safety Alert focused on reducing injuries related to slips, trips, and falls. These types of injuries are the most-common ones in the aggregates industry, accounting for 23 percent of all injuries in 2015, according to the most recent data. The following flyer offers Best Practices to help prevent these types of accidents.
