Serious Accident Alert: Miner receives electrical shock

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) issued a Serious Accident Alert after a miner was shocked. on October 11, 2017, A miner at a sand and gravel plant received an electrical  shock while working in a portable crusher’s 480-volt electrical control panel without locking and tagging out the circuit. The injured miner was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.
